Special Weapon Effects

• +500% weapon damage (around 3.3x damage of an Interloper).
• -100% splash radius. Reduced magazine size bonus (+20% instead of +50%). Reduced elemental chance (which is the same as normal Maliwan shotguns, and around 0.25x of an Interloper).
• Charges up to fire in full-automatic. Fires elemental disk that bounces from surface or between targets up to 3 times. Consumes 3 ammo per shot.

Usage & Description

Projectile Recursion functions like a Interloper but needs charging to fire and have no splash radius (despite it still deals splash damage) and much lower element chance, making it somehow being mediocre comparing to Interloper.

Notes

• The Projectile Recursion must charge between each shot, making its actual fire rate much lower than listed.
  • The shot will automatically be fired once charged.
  • Class Mods and other effects that lower weapon charge time will help to achieve its true fire rate.
• Before the July 23th 2020 hotfix, each "extra damage" ("extra damage after action skill end" anointments on weapon, shield, grenade, and Amara's Forceful Expression) would spawn an extra shot after the initial impact, making it very effective when used by Amara or Moze (extra incendiary damage on a critical hit). Now the ricochet amount is limited to the initial impact amount and the maximum bounce is reduced to 4.
