Usage & Description

The Interloper fires a disk in full-automatic without charging time, which can bounce once before exploding on impact. It has high accuracy, massive elemental damage and high elemental chance, consuming 4 ammo per shot. It also has 210 base splash radius and +50% magazine size.

This gun is especially useful for an elemental focused Amara, guaranteeing the damage over time effect and increasing damage overall.

This gun is one of the few common weapons able to compete with legendaries for elemental or splash damage build on Mayhem Mode.

As an alien barrel weapon, it only comes in rare and epic rarity.

Notable Variants

• Binary Interloper - Interloper with Double-Penetrating grip. Fires 2 disks and cost 5 ammo per shot.
• Projectile Recursion - Legendary Interloper which disk fired bounce between enemies with higher damage but lower element chance and no splash radius. Consumes 3 ammo per shot.
• Insider - Legendary shotgun that fires a cluster of explosive element projectiles. Consumes 2-4 ammo per shot.
• Chandelier - Legendary shotgun that fires a cluster of disks.

Notes

• The Interloper is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
• Though it is extremely rare, it is possible for Interlopers to generate without a stock.
