Fearmonger is a legendary shotgun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Hyperion. It is exclusive to the Bloody Harvest seasonal event and can drop from Loot Ghost or Captain Haunt, who is located in Heck.  

Special Weapon Effects

I can't control their fear, only my own.

• +40% damage. +40% magazine size. Decreased splash radius (100). Consumes 2 ammo per shot.
• Projectiles form square with each moving in a wave pattern. Projectiles explode and deal damage shortly after impact with a target or surface.
• Each stack of terror on the character adds an extra projectile per shot, with a maximum of 3. Doesn't suffer from the accuracy debuff of Terror.

Usage and Description

The Fearmonger is an immensely powerful shotgun, being able to output high damage when at maximum stacks of Terror. It almost always spawns with anointments that grant Terror, which provides excellent synergy.

Notes

• The Fearmonger almost always spawns with Terror-based anointments. While it is possible for it to spawn with normal anointments, it is extremely rare.

• The flavor text is a quote from the character Scarlet Witch in the 2016 film Captain America: Civil War.
