Hellshock is a legendary pistol in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Maliwan. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Vermilingua located in The Splinterlands on Pandora.
Special Weapon Effects

- +25% weapon damage. Fixed 10 round magazine with +20 magazine size (30 total).
- Always incendiary and shock. Fires 2 projectiles per shot. Projectiles bounce once, starting as the chosen element and switching to the other after the first impact.
- Unlike common Blaster, it doesn't deal splash damage.
Usage & Description
The guaranteed dual combination of incendiary and shock makes the Hellshock effective at dealing with a wide array of enemies. By firing at a target's feet, it is possible to utilize the bounce properties to switch elements without ceasing fire.
To minimize the shooting delay from charging the weapon, one can continually pump the trigger to keep the weapon close to firing, at the cost of losing the ability to sprint (unless one is playing as Moze with the Rushin' Offensive skill).

- Hotfix 3/5/2020: Damage greatly increased. Projectiles per shot increased to 2.
- Hotfix 7/23/2020: Now drops from Vermilingua instead of Gigamind.
