Multiplex is the title of a group of common sniper rifles in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Maliwan.

Usage & Description

The Multiplex is a fully automatic Maliwan sniper rifle. It has a higher rate of fire than other Maliwan sniper rifle, and begins firing as soon as it's charged. It can also have a melee accessory that provide +80% melee damage.

Notable Variants

Krakatoa – Legendary incendiary sniper rifle that causes miniature volcanoes to erupt beneath enemies shot with it. These volcanoes launch balls of fire that leave magma puddles behind when they connect with the ground.

Notes

The Multiplex is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
Lining up shots with the Multiplex can be trickier than with other sniper rifles, as it automatically fires once it's charged, rather than on trigger release.
Katagawa Jr. uses a Multiplex in sniping.
