Points of Interest
Glasswind Hollow
The entrance to the forest containing one of the Fast Travel points and a pair of vending machines, which have a dook hut next to them. Just around the corner is a large cavern filled with Bellik, with a monorail train track attached to the top of the cavern. Just past the first group of Bellik there is a regular weapon chest on the left side of the cavern next to a wagon wheel and a lantern. Just past this is where the first Prime Bellik is encountered, they can do a lot of damage, especially on Mayhem/TVHM, as they can teleport and summon clouds that do a large amount of either shock or radiation elemental damage. There is a cavern passage after the Prime Bellik with a New-U Station and a dook hut. Just past this is another tunnel with a Bellik Matriarch and a couple Lightbender Bellik, the tunnel also contains a Telezapper portal which leads to a red chest above Crone's Contentment.
Crone's Contentment
The home of the Old Crone Oletta, the front of which is made from an old train engine. The first section of the area contains Oletta's gardens which have Imps and Shadow Devil in them. When first meeting Oletta she will lead the Vault Hunter to a laboratory behind her shack, a map showing the location of the Good Prospects' treasure chest in pinned to a cork board. There's a series of caves behind her house that lead to Tallyway Station via a cavern with a large waterfall. This is also where Oletta demonstrates the abilities of Traitorweed for the Vault Hunter. Once in the cavern with the waterfall heading east leads to the Station, while taking the west tunnel leads to a small cavern containing the Hydragoian, a Skin to Win target.
Betty & Reba's Camp
An unmarked location behind Oletta's homestead where Refried Reba and Baked Betty can be found, they start the side mission Of Blood and Beans by tasking the Vault Hunter to find their missing cans of beans. The trail of beans leads to a small cavern filled with a large pool of acid, then to a larger cavern with a waterfall that contains Imps, Croaker, Shadow, and Scum Devils; this cavern has several ammo crates, and a regular weapon chest on a rock ledge at the end of a bridge. At the back of the upper section of this second cavern is a red chest. The bean thieves are found in the third cavern, they're a bunch of Pestilent Scourge who have become Gaseous Bloaters due to eating the entire case of beans.
Tallyway Station
The train station where the Devil Riders load all the Core they've mined onto trains to be taken to the surface. When first approaching the station from Crone's Contentment, there is a rock ledge to the left, climbing it leads to a small passage containing one of Sato's Journals; it also makes a good elevated position for sniping the Devil Riders by the station. Once the train moves, the station can be accessed, inside is a pair of vending machines next to one of Sato's Caches, with several safes and wooden crates spread around the building. Inside the station office is a cash register, fridge, several more safes and wooden crates, and a Bounty Board where the side mission Lost and Found is started. A ladder in front of the station can be used to climb up to the roof to meet Oletta during Lost and Found, there is also a regular chest at the end of the train track next to the Breezebloom plant that leads to Guinefort Grotto.
Guinefort Grotto
A series of caves with electrified pools and radioactive rivers flowing through them populated with Devils. The first cave has a few Croaker Devil and Shadow Devils in it. The cave tunnel branches off to the left and right, the left tunnel contains Radiation Devils which are needed for Lost and Found's optional objective, while the right tunnel leads down to a cave with Lightning Devils needed for the second optional objective; this lower cave also has a small alcove blocked with Core, inside is another Lightning Devil and a cash chest. Both tunnels lead to a central cavern where Bella's lair is located.
Bella's lair
The Last Dig
An extremely large cavern that has been hollowed out by extensive Core mining over the decades. The cavern also contains the mining explosives the Vault Hunter needs during Off the Rails. The area is filled with Devil Riders, including Badass Honchos, Badass Fiends, and Badass Rustlers, and there are quite a few ammo crates, Coresploder, Traitorweed, and safes spread around the area. In the northwest area of the cavern is a rock ledge with a regular chest on top, and a passage to a small chamber where Waylon Hurd can be found for Gehenna's Most Wanted. The second cavern of the Dig contains the other two mining charges needed for the mission, and is full of Devil Riders being attacked by Belliks. The second mining charge is behind a cracked wall, it can be opened with a Coresploder that is in the bucket of a bulldozer. The third charge is on the northside on top of a ledge, reachable by a Breezebloom, and under it is a tunnel with a dook hut and an ECHO log. On the west side of the cavern is a small tunnel sealed with a Core deposit, it can be blown open with a nearby Coresploder, inside is the Lectrikor for Skin to Win.
Freight Yard
An unmarked location in The Last Dig, it is an old freight yard next to the elevated tracks where Company trains were loaded with Core and other cargo. When first entering the area, there are two gun safes against the cave wall parallel to the Breezebloom plant used to jump onto the tracks. The tracks have been barricaded halfway down by the Devil Riders using old cargo containers, requiring jumping over to a central loading platform to get around it. One of Sato's Caches is on a support column under the tracks, it can be reached by jumping over from the lower section of the loading platform. The other side of the barricade on the tracks is where the explosives are placed to stop the train, below is a pair of vending machines and a Breezebloom pad that jumps over the hole in the cave wall made by the train.
The Shrapnel
The area where the train crashes after the tracks are blown up, this is also where the Bellik Primis boss is encountered. After defeating the Primis, a red chest can be found in the area through the hole in the wall made by the Primis' entrance, which leads back to the entrance to the Obsidian Forest.

Red Chests
- After defeating the Bellik Primis during Off The Rails, a path leading back to the Forest entrance opens up with a red chest being found along the way.
- A red chest can be found in the cave where the side mission Of Blood and Beans leads to. It is in the cavern with a waterfall and a wooden bridge, the chest is found at the back of the upper section of this cavern (through the section of the wall on the upper level that is blown open with a Coresploder), the path to the left leads to it, and a Breezebloom pad is used to jump up to the ledge the chest is on.
- There is a red chest on a cliff above Crone's Contentment, it can be accessed by a Telezapper portal in the cave tunnel that connects Glasswind Hollow with Crone's Contentment; Telezappers can't be accessed until Where It All Started is started.
