Redistributor is a legendary submachine gun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Hyperion. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Valkyrie Squad or Wotan the Invincible.

Man's reach exceeds his imagination. – +160% weapon damage. Every 7th shot is amped. Amped shots chain to nearby enemies.
Usage & Description
The Redistributor is an effective weapon for crowd control as the chained shots can weaken enemies that the character hasn't engaged yet but are in the vicinity.
Notes
- This version of the Redistributor differs from the unique version, which shares the same name but has fixed parts and is a story mission reward.
- The amped shot effect is tied to the number of shots fired, not the magazine count. If 6 shots are fired before a reload, the next shot fired will be amped.
- Chained shots ignore obstacles between enemies, allowing barriers and floors to be bypassed.
- Shots amped from other sources such as equipped amp shields, an amp shield on the weapon itself while aiming down sights, and Zane's barrier with the relevant augment will also cause shots to chain between enemies.
- Despite being a Boardroom, Redistributor has fixed barrel accessory for Powerplay.
- This weapon uses the same weapon skin with Phebert, Tankman's Shield and Iceburger.

- The flavor text is a reference to the quote "Man's reach exceeds his grasp" by a fictionalized Nikola Tesla in the 2006 movie The Prestige.
