Freeman is a legendary rocket launcher in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Atlas. It can only be obtained from the Warden in The Anvil on Eden-6.

Usage & Description

The Freeman's rockets are laser guided instead of tracker guided, as they follow the direction the user is pointing the launcher. This can be used to guide them around cover, and, with practice, several rockets can even be guided at the same time to great effect.

Notes

• The Freeman can never legitimately spawn with any barrel accessories to improve its stats. This can only occur with external tools.

• The name, flavor text, and special effect are a reference to the Half-Life video game series.
  • The flavor text is a quote said by the G-Man in the opening scene of Half-Life 2.
  • The name refers to Gordon Freeman, the protagonist of the series.
