Strategy
Once the energy trap is placed, guardians will continually spawn. When killed, they will appear to "glitch out" momentarily before turning into a slow moving red orb that flies towards the trap. This orb can be accidentally destroyed with direct or splash damage, and will only appear if the guardian was not killed with sufficiently strong damage to "gib" it, which is especially likely if the player is using weapons with high damage per shot, or if the player is overleveled for the mission. If difficulty is encountered getting the red orbs to spawn, it is recommended to avoid splash damage, to avoid critical hits, and to use the lowest-damage weapon available to avoid "gibbing" the guardians.

- "Well, what are you waiting for? You've got a fancy new dark cannon, don't you? Get out there and kill some Maliwan, you force of nature. You freaking king of the jungle. You beautiful monster. Boom boom, baby."
