Money Back Guarantee is an optional mission in the Bounty of Blood DLC for Borderlands 3.

Background

"A specialty firearm, at this price? It'd be fiscally irresponsible NOT to buy!"

A weapons dealer named General Samuel Stickly persuades the Vault Hunter to buy a very powerful, completely genuine Jacobs weapon for $15,000 with a "money-back guarantee". The weapon turns out to be counterfeit and when the vault hunter comes back for their money, Stickly has run off with the cash. This forces the player to hunt him down.

Notes

If one returns to Stickly's hideout after firing the cannon, there will be cash scattered around on the ground, and the red chest on the roof of the building will now be accessible.
- Despite being difficult, it is not impossible to access the red chest before firing the cannon, it just requires careful platforming.
The cash that is dropped by Stickly at various points does not scale with level, nor does it scale in Mayhem Mode or TVHM. As such, each stack of cash dropped by Stickly is always worth $8.
