Wretched Shadows is a melee override skill on the root branch of C4SH's Luck of the Draw skill tree in Borderlands 4.

Effects

Melee Override. Throw a Grasping Tentacle Card that attaches to an area on impact. For a Duration, it constantly Slows and deals Kinetic Lifesteal Damage based on C4SH's Fortune Stacks.

Change History

• The April 30th, 2026 patch changed Wretched Shadows's Melee Override to count as a melee attack itself, granting it any melee bonuses currently active.
• The May 28, 2026 patch fixed Grasping Tentacle Cards to appear in the correct location and attack enemies with crystals.
