Inertia is a tier 3 skill in Maya's Motion skill tree. After killing an enemy you regenerate your shield and gain increased reload speed for a few seconds.

Notes

• Any shield that requires depletion to be effective (such as a Maylay Shield) instantly loses its effect after a single kill and cannot be triggered again until Inertia wears off.
  • Conversely, this ability improves the usefulness of Amplify Shields, reducing the delay between Amp Shots and possibly allowing another Amp Shot before the shield recharge delay is over.
• It is detrimental to have any points invested in Inertia together with Fleet and any shield besides The Rough Rider. With Inertia, any kill will instantly trigger shield regeneration and immediately deactivate Fleet.
