Confidence — borderlands

Confidence is the title of a group of common submachine guns in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. They are manufactured exclusively by Hyperion with old-style materials and prefixes and feature the Dahl barrel.

Usage & Description

Old-style Hyperion's submachine guns have higher damage output at the cost of significantly lower accuracy and fire rate than their modern analogs. They also have a limited version of Hyperion's "reverse recoil" when aimed down the sights only.

This submachine gun does not have any stats that stand out amongst the other old-style Hyperion SMG weapons. The only aspect improved in it is a reduced recoil thanks to the Dahl barrel that it comes with.

Notes

In addition to the Confidence, a variant of this weapon exists as the Presence, made by the "new" Hyperion.
The Confidence only comes in green or higher rarity.
The Confidence is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
