The Viper Drive is a mission item used in the Space-Laser Tag story mission. It can be used to hack into devices and systems. Rhys gives the Vault Hunters a Viper Drive to commandeer a Maliwan shuttle. Later in the mission, the Viper Drive is also used to hijack a Pleasure Sphere and turn it into Rhys-Ball.
When Maliwan starts attacking Atlas HQ, Rhys uses the Viper Drive to hack into the Maliwan system.
