Target Softening is a tier 4 augment skill in Moze's Demolition Woman skill tree. While this skill is equipped, the Vanquisher rocket pod deals greatly reduced damage per rocket, but fires in six-rocket spreads. Enemies hit by the Vanquisher's rockets take increased damage from all sources.

This skill requires Vanquisher Rocket Pod to be equipped.

Trivia

• Rockets fired by Target Softening leave purple puddles on the ground on impact. This is a reference to slag, an element from Borderlands 2 which increased enemies' damage taken.
