Easy Modifiers
Name Special Effect
Big Kick Energy
  • Gun damage is increased by 25%.
  • Recoil is increased by 100%.
  • Weapon spread is increased by 100%.
Galaxy Brain
  • Enemy heads and their hitboxes are increased by 100%.
    • This also enlarges the heads of Vault Hunters and allied NPCs.
Lootsplosion
  • Killed enemies have a 10% chance of a large loot drop.
    • Critical kills guarantee this effect.
Speed Demon
  • On kill, movement speed is increased by 50% for 10 seconds.
    • Can stack up to 3 times, for a total of up to 150% increased movement speed.
More Than Okay Boomer
  • Grenade damage is increased by 25%.
  • Enemies drop grenade ammo on death.
  • Enemies have a 33% chance of dropping a live grenade with a 4 second fuse, which can injure both players and enemies.
Slayer
  • When a non-boss enemy is at 15% or below on shield, armor, or health, they will glow blue. Effect fades away if any of the three are regenerated.
    • On melee hit on a blue glowing enemy, they will be dealt a gargantuan amount of damage (approximately 32 million) and instantly defeated, dropping shield and health boosters.

Medium Modifiers

Healy Avenger
  • On enemy death, a heart will spawn on top of its corpse, slowly starting to move towards an enemy. If the power-up reaches an enemy, the receiver will be healed back to 100%.
    • The powerup can be damaged and destroyed by any weapon, and is rather fragile.
    • If the power-up is destroyed before reaching an enemy, it will drop health and shield boosters.
    • No more than 3 hearts can exist at once.
Charred Mode
  • Enemies have a 25% chance of spawning with Incendiary. Affected enemies give off a red pulsing effect.
    • Enemy is immune to Incendiary damage and effects.
    • On death, an Incendiary nova is created.
High Voltage
  • Enemies have a 25% chance of spawning with Shock. Affected enemies give off a blue pulsing effect.
    • Enemy is immune to Shock elemental damage and effects.
    • On death, a Shock nova is created.
Acid Reign
  • Enemies have a 25% chance of spawning with Corrosive. Affected enemies give off a green pulsing effect.
    • Enemy is immune to Corrosive elemental damage and effects.
    • On death, a Corrosive nova is created.
Chilling Them Softly
  • Enemies have a 25% chance of spawning with Cryo. Affected enemies give off a white pulsing effect.
    • Enemy is immune to Cryo elemental damage and effects.
    • On death, a Cryo nova is created.
Totally Radical
  • Enemies have a 25% chance of spawning with Radiation. Affected enemies give off a yellow pulsing effect.
    • Enemy is immune to Radiation elemental damage and effects.
    • On death, a Radiation nova is created.
Mob Mentality
  • If an enemy is near another enemy, they both receive 30% increased damage and fire rate.
    • This effect does not stack if numerous enemies are near each other.
Freeze Tag
  • Enemies have a 20% chance to spawn a 'Freeze Tag' entity upon death.
    • Freeze Tags release a Cryo Nova every 2 seconds, which will damage both players and enemies within range.
    • The Freeze Tag will slowly float towards players.
    • The Freeze tag is fairly durable, but can be killed. They automatically disappear after 20 seconds.
    • No more than 2 Freeze Tags can exist at once.
Floor is Lava
  • If a Vault Hunter stands still in combat, an Incendiary pool is created beneath their feet.
    • What counts as "in combat" is very inconsistent, as pools may still be created for some time after clearing an area.
    • Pools start spawning almost immediately upon ceasing movement, and will spawn once per second while stationary.
Pain Tolerance
  • Upon hitting an enemy, the injured enemy gains a 3% damage reduction against the type of damage received for 3 seconds.
    • Can stack up to 20 times, for a total of up to 60% damage reduction.

Hard Modifiers

Chain Gang
  • If an enemy is near another enemy, a damaging elemental beam is linked between them.
    • Effect can link between several enemies.
Drone Ranger
  • Enemies have a 50% chance of spawning with a Healing Drone. The drone will support them throughout combat. The drones can be shot at and eventually defeated.
    • If the original carrier is killed, the drone will switch to a new target.
    • Multiple drones can heal an individual enemy.
    • Each drone heals the target it is supporting for 1% of maximum HP per second.
    • If there are no nearby energies, the drones will self-destruct
    • No more than 2 of these drones can exist at once.
    • Killing the drone triggers on kill buffs, including reviving.
Pool Party
  • When a bar of shield, armor, and/or health is depleted, enemies will fling arcing projectiles around themselves that generate damaging elemental pools.
    • When shields are depleted, Shock pools are spawned.
    • When armor is depleted, Corrosive pools are spawned.
    • When health is depleted, Incendiary pools are spawned.
    • The number of pools spawned depends on the classification of the enemy. Normal enemies spawn 2 pools at a time, while badass or higher enemies instead spawn 4.
Laser Fare
  • On enemy hit, the enemy has a 4% chance to spawn a Spinner trap which will persist for 15 seconds
    • Spinner traps emit elemental damage laser beams, which spin around the center trap.
    • Beams can be jumped over, or potentially ducked under, depending on terrain
    • The Spinners can be destroyed, but are rather durable.
    • Beams only extend for a medium distance around the trap.
Boundary Issues
  • At close range, enemies will attach a damaging elemental beam to the player, constantly damaging them.
Ticked Off
  • Elemental Status Effect damage against enemies is reduced by 90%.

Very Hard Modifiers

Buddy System
  • Enemies have a 25% chance of spawning with an Invulnerability Drone, rendering them immune to damage until the drone is destroyed.
    • The drone may spawn inside level geometry, making it and the enemy it is guarding unkillable.
    • No more than 2 of these drones can exist at once.
    • Killing the drone triggers on kill buffs, including reviving.
Post Mortem
  • On kill, there is a 10% chance that Death, a floating black skull entity, will spawn on the enemy's corpse. Death will slowly chase the Vault Hunter until it makes contact.
    • On contact, the Vault Hunter is immediately incapacitated and enters Fight For Your Life.
    • Death can be destroyed, but is quite durable and may prove annoying to take down in close range scenarios.
    • Death will disappear after 45 seconds if it fails to catch a Vault Hunter.
    • No more than 2 Death entities can exist at once.
Dazed and Infused
  • Enemies have a 50% chance of spawning with a random elemental attunement.
    • Enemies are immune to said elemental damage type.
    • On death, a nova of that damage type is created.
Rogue Lite
  • Fight For Your Life is disabled; Insta-death.
  • Enemies will always drop health pickups on death.
Not the Face
  • Critical Hit damage is reduced by 75%.
Holy Crit
  • Critical Hit damage is increased by 25%.
  • Non-Critical Hit damage is reduced by 50%.
