Mag-Lock is a tier 4 skill in Axton's Survival skill tree. This skill gives the 'sticky effect' to the Sabre Turret which allows it to be deployed on walls and ceilings.

Effect

Notes

• Once the Sabre Turret is deployed onto something with Mag-Lock skill active, it remains in that position until it is reclaimed/expired/destroyed. This can cause it to float in mid-air if deployed on temporary surfaces such as an ION Loader's shield bubble; when the shield shuts off, the turret remains floating in place.
• Deploying the turret on certain locations with Mag-Lock will prevent it from being reclaimed (i.e. the underside of the bridge in Arid Nexus - Badlands).
• If Gemini is has been invested into, both turrets will have the Mag-Lock ability.
• Mag-Lock synergizes well with Longbow Turret, allowing the Sabre turret to distract enemies better by sticking it on inaccessible locations and makes it a harder target for enemies to destroy.
  • An example would be fighting against Saturn. If the turret is stuck on the bridge's underside, many of Saturn's missiles will fail to hit the turret, in addition to denying it from using the stomp attack. The only attacks that can reach the turret are the divebombing surveyors and the electric cannon barrage.

• The Sabre Turret's appearance changes with Mag-Lock - it now appears to hover on a modified pod.
• The name and icon imply that the turret magnetically attaches itself to the surface. Despite this, the Sabre Turret can be attached to any surface.
