Kensei is a legendary class mod for Amara. It is exclusive to the Designer's Cut DLC. It is exclusive to the Designer's Cut DLC and is obtained randomly anywhere inside of Stormblind Complex but has an increased chance to drop in the Dreadnought Drydocks red chests.

Special Effects

Train until your weapon is an extension of your self. – After activating her action skill Amara deals 10% bonus melee damage of her attuned element type with her weapons for the next 6 seconds.

Skill Bonuses

Variants of the Kensei class mod will distribute an additional 5 bonus skill points across the following skills (each skill can obtain a bonus between 0-5):

• No Mistakes In Nature
• Unweave The Rainbow
• Joyfull Freedom

Affected Variables

The Kensei class mod may grant three randomly selected bonuses which buff health, shields stats, weapons stats and elemental resistance and damage.

Prefixes

The Kensei class mod may receive no prefix or any of the prefixes listed below:
Ascendant • Traveling • Unrelenting

Trivia

• The name and flavor text are both references to Japanese martial arts:
  • Kensei is an honorary titled bestowed upon those highly skilled in swordsmanship.
  • "Train until your weapon is an extension of your self" is a common motto or refrain in martial arts that incorporate the use of weapons.
