Dietmar is a minor NPC in the Borderlands 2 DLC Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt. He makes a number of ECHO communication during the missions Still Just a Borok in a Cage and Egg on Your Face. Dietmar claims to be using footage of these missions to produce a documentary about the Vault Hunter.

• "Von Henrichzimmerschneit" is not Dietmar's actual last name, as revealed in the completion text for 'Still Just a Borok in a Cage'. His actual name is much longer.
• Dietmar's appearance and personality may be inspired by the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.
  • This is most strongly evident within the mission "Still Just a Borok in a Cage" where he questions "Der Monstrositat stares at ze Vault Hunter and ze Vault Hunter stares back. But who is ze real monster?" which is in reference to Nietzsche's most enduring quote "When you gaze into the abyss long enough, the abyss gazes back into you".
