Blitz is a tier 6 passive skill in Amara's Brawl skill tree. This skill overrides Amara's default melee attack, allowing her to dash forward and perform a special melee attack. This attack gains a damage bonus and deals elemental damage. If this attack kills an enemy, its cooldown is reset.
Effects
- Cooldown: 8 seconds
- Melee Damage: +100%
- Converts melee attack damage to Amara's action skill element
- Additional extra damage (see below)
Mechanics
- The +100% damage bonus is additive and applies to all melee attacks, even when Blitz is on cooldown. All other effects only apply when Blitz is triggered.
- The additional extra damage is multiplicative and follows the formula
TotalMeleeDMG = MeleeDMG x (75% + 1.5% x level)
- This amounts to an effective multiplier of x1.17 at level 28 (when it can be first unlocked) and x1.5 at level 50.
Notes
- After switching Amara's action skill element, Blitz will continue to do damage of the previous element, only switching to the new element once the action skill is used.
- If the targeted enemy dies or otherwise loses its hitbox before Blitz connects, Amara's momentum will not be canceled as it would on hit. This should be kept in mind when fighting near cliffs and other hazards.
- Blitz can still be used while crippled.
